This 200-year-old (circa 1790's) "Charleston Historic House" is located in the heart of the Historic District. This Federal style house is the "Peter Freneau House" named after a prominent Charleston journalist and Jeffersonian politician who lived in the house.

The Inn has three levels of lovely side Charleston porches with rocking chairs. King Street shopping and dining and the Historic City market are just a short 1-5 minute walk.
