King George Inn is located at 32 George Street, one signal light below Calhoun, between King and Meeting.

Directions into Charleston on I-26:
I-26 dead-ends into downtown Charleston. You will see a sign overhead that says "I-26 Ends One Mile." Go to the far left lane and take the Meeting Street Visitors Center exit at the end of I-26. You will come to a signal light which allows you to merge with the Meeting Street traffic. You will go through several signal lights. You will come to a major intersection of Meeting and Calhoun (There will be a large park on your right and a gas station on the left). Cross Calhoun and move into the right lane, the next signal light will be George Street. Make a right turn onto George Street. The College of Charleston gymnasium is on the corner. As you pass the gym, King George IV Inn is the first home on the right pass the gym. We have a wrought iron fence with a narrow drive through gate. Swing wide to the left before you make the sharp right turn.

Traveling North on Highway 17 into Charleston

Cross the Ashley River Bridge. As you cross the bridge, move to the far right lane and take the exit for Lockwood Drive, south and/or Calhoun St. Immediately move to the far left lane. At the first signal light make a left onto Calhoun Street. You will go through several signal lights to the intersection of King Street. Make a right turn onto King and move immediately to the left lane. The first signal light is George Street. Make a left on George Street. King George IV Inn is the forth building on the left from the corner of King and George.

Traveling South on Highway 17 into Charleston:
You will cross the new Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. Move to the far right lane and take the Meeting Street exit. You will come to a stop light and take a left onto Meeting Street. You will go through several signal lights and come to the major intersection of Calhoun St. and Meeting St. . (There will be a large park on the right and a Gas Station on your left. Go through the intersection and move to the right lane. The first signal light is George Street. Make a right on George St. The College of Charleston gymnasium is on the corner.
